Daily Prompt: Stranger in a Strange Land
Sure there were the Mayan Ruins, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Sure there were fresh water pools, cenotes rather. And of course there were some nice quesadillas, with queso. But you know what I liked best about my trip to Mexico?
Being scammed.
All the people,
They all say,
Scam, Scam.
Go away.
We fell for it,
For their trap.
We drank their wine.
We had their snack.
And then we walked away.
